Jose, thanks for responding to my brief article. Something that concerns me is that it's clear this requires international cooperation, and some baby steps toward a common system of Internet governance, but it is not clear what technical measures are practical at the international level. Something else that goes against my own article is that, easy as it is, why isnt iWar as common now as the iPod? Do you expect things to get allot worse in the next two years?

The cyberworld is extremely fragile and vulnerable. But it cannot remain so. As you've mentioned there's is a pressing need to increase security and also frame better guidelines. Political hurdles should be sorted out asap. In the real world transactions, we wouldn't allow such loopholes to be present. The world has to realise that connectivity isn't all, security is the key factor.

A recent news report stated that protesters from China were planning to carry out an attack on CNN for for highlighting Tibet's cause. At the last moment they called it off. But a question arises - would a nation protect its citizens for carrying out the illegal war or will they be penalised. While forming guidelines these issues should also be looked into.
